I have a loft style apartment situated between London's Barbican and Old Street.  It's a great

space for food and lifestyle shoots as everything is designed to be photographed and to be

moveable and adaptable. The even neutral light from nine huge windows with white voile

blinds, makes wonderful images on all but the darkest of days.

There's a terrific Waitrose round the corner which helps with shopping for a food shoot -

forgotten or unplanned items can be got in a matter of minutes. Additionally, there is a large

Marks & Spencer food store in Moorgate about 10 minutes walk away and just outside,

Whitecross Street market has good vegetables and and a wonderful selection of delicious

ethnic food stalls for interesting lunches!
