I work in a loft style apartment situated between London's Barbican and Old Street. It's a great space for food and lifestyle shoots

as everything is designed to be photographed and to be moveable, so it can be rearranged in lots of ways and the light is beautiful

from ten huge windows with white voile blinds. A terrific new Waitrose has opened a few yards away which helps with shopping for

a food shoot - forgotten or unplanned items can be got in a matter of minutes. Additionally, there is a large Marks & Spencer food

store in Moorgate about 10 minutes away and just outside Whitecross Street market has good vegetables and delicious ethnic
